As a HUB Intern, you will have a chance to work with our exceptional Commercial lines, Personal lines, Employee Benefits, or Retirement & Private Wealth teams.
We provide on-the-job training and hands-on experience to help you learn about our business. You will work closely with various HUB team members, gain skills in sales and client service, and experience a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities :
Client Engagement : Collaborate with our sales and service teams to interact with clients, understand their needs, and contribute to tailored insurance solutions.
Sales Support : Assist in sales activities such as prospect research, lead generation, and preparing client presentations.
Policy Administration : Gain hands-on experience in managing policies, endorsements, renewals, and assisting in claims processing.
Market Research : Contribute to market analysis and research projects, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Data Management : Assist in maintaining accurate client records, policy documentation, and other critical data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with colleagues from different teams to gain exposure to various facets of insurance brokerage.
Technical Training : Actively engage in workshops, training sessions, and seminars aimed at enhancing your skills and industry knowledge.
Reporting : Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Compensation :
The expected hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
Qualifications :
3rd or 4th year student currently enrolled in a post-secondary University or college program.
A self-starter with a strong desire to learn about employee benefits and the insurance industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
A team player with a desire to collaborate and assist others.
Enthusiasm to learn and be mentored by experienced professionals.
Ability to work independently when needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
