Title : Industrial Mechanic Millwright

Location : Ontario

Required hours : 8 ,000 hours per year of Full time employment

Overview :

The Industrial Mechanic Millwright plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and mechanical reliability of machinery and equipment within our facilities.

This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and aligns closely with our commitment to high standards of performance and safety.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a diverse team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience looking to advance their skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and troubleshoot breakdowns to optimize machinery performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate installations.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to prioritize maintenance activities.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in the training of junior mechanics and apprentices.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
