The Division of Geriatric Medicine consists of a team of 11 Geriatricians working across Vancouver Island serving a population of ,.
In Campbell River, the new North Island Hospital is a state of the art facility with an elder-friendly design to meet unique needs of seniors.
The Geriatric service provides clinical support to a robust service including in-patient and out-patient consultation and follow-up.
Physicians work with dedicated interdisciplinary teams in most areas, including a geriatric psychiatrist in Campbell River.
There are no on call duties with attractive remuneration under a clinical service contract. The Division of Geriatrics is affiliated with the University of British Columbia Island Medical Program, and supports clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate learners.

Recruitment Incentive : up to a maximum of $10, (pro-rated based on FTE)
Relocation : up to a maximum of $15, (amount based on location relocating from)
Flat fee : $9,.01
Fee Premium : 6.09%
CME : $2, / annum year 3-4 and $4, / annum after 4 years in the community.
