Job Description
What is the Opportunity? As a Software Engineer, Cloud Security you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions to enhance RBC's cloud security posture.
You will also contribute to the developer experience and foster a culture that encourages best security practices. What will you do?
Establish core services and security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments.
Design and build cloud security solutions using automation, config as code, and TDD principles.
Implement SRE practices to enhance operational processes and reliability.
Collaborate with multiple engineering groups to align on technical strategies.
Develop security coverage reports to identify gaps and enhance the cloud security strategy.
Lead and participate in delivering end-to-end integrated solutions.
What do you need to succeed? Must-Have :
Familiarity with modern software development, DevOps, and SRE practices.
Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or any other modern programming language.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience in building and optimizing CI / CD pipelines.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like ARM, CFN, and Terraform.
Experience working with container tools and platforms.
Nice to have :
Experience with observability tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, etc.
Cloud or Security certifications
