We operate over 27 full-day early learning and childcare centres across the Greater Hamilton Area, offering services for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with extended before and after school care.

Who We’re Looking For We’re searching for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children! This role will focus on supporting children with physical, behavioral, and mental health needs.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be working at our Viola Desmond Centre for 26.25 hours a week on a split shift schedule (Monday to Friday 7 : 00AM-9 : 00AM and 2 : 45pm-6 : 00pm) , under the guidance of the Supervisor.

This is a permanent part time position. The hourly rate will be $20.71 per hour. Why Work with Us? is an asset Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and professionally with children, families, and staff Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with equipment and devices A dedicated advocate for diversity, equality, and inclusion Capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic team What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting children, families, and staff where additional resources are needed.

You will : Work closely with program staff to implement classroom and child management techniques Assist with documentation and updates on Individual Support Plans (ISPs) Collaborate in alignment with How Does Learning Happen?
