Assante Wealth Management is looking for a Vice President National Accounts to lead and manage a team of financial advisors and servicing advisors who provide financial planning and investment solutions to employees of our corporate clients as well as supporting our corporate advisors operating in branches across the country.

The Vice President National Accounts will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of client service, compliance, and productivity, as well as fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.

The Vice President National Accounts will also play a key role in developing and executing strategies to increase the revenue of existing and new national accounts, by leveraging the full spectrum of Assante's products and services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

Manage and evaluate team of financial advisors, servicing advisors and foster an environment of open communication, approachability, and fair and consistent treatment of employees.

Align performance objectives with department goals and recognition programs that encourage and motivate employees to achieve excellence.

Responsible for the supervision and end to end performance management of Financial Advisors and Servicing Advisors to ensure the adoption, sustainment and effective use of CRM and sales tools.

Lead the Employee Financial Services and National Accounts department in the implementation and adoption of new products and sales initiatives.

Work with the Operations Manager to identify tactics to close productivity gaps and ensure we are compliant on both MFDA and IIROC guidelines and policies.

Work in partnership with regional leadership to plan and execute Advisor succession and transfer opportunities into the Nationl Account channel.

Handle escalated client complaints to ensure a satisfactory outcome for all parties.

Conduct post escalation review, develop and present recommendation on potential changes to processes and procedures to Operations Manager.

Maintain licensing as Financial Advisor in Ontario to provide back-up in peak times and to be able to effectively handle escalations when necessary.

Develop and execute strategies to increase the revenue of existing and new national accounts, by identifying opportunities to offer other Assante's products and services, such as wealth management, insurance, estate planning, and charitable giving.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the corporate clients, and position Assante as a trusted partner and advisor.

Conduct regular business reviews and presentations with the corporate clients, and provide insights and recommendations on how to optimize their employee financial wellness programs.

Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and client feedback, and provide input and feedback to the product development and marketing teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING :

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role.

Current MFDA and IIROC licenses, or ability to obtain them within 3 months of hire.

Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and industry regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high performing teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and other relevant software applications.

Proven track record of increasing revenue and market share of national accounts, and developing and executing effective sales strategies.

Ability to travel as required to meet with corporate clients and regional teams.
