- Able tointerpret a BEO and will ask superior forguidance
- Strong knowledge of quantities neededfor service and upcoming volumes
- Able to writea thorough and complete prep list
- Can identifyany ergonomic issues or hazards in kitchen and seekguidance on how to remedy
- Consistently offerprofessional engaging and proactive service while supporting fellowcolleagues
- Assist in the preparation andservice of all food items for a la carte and / or buffet menusaccording to hotel recipes and standards
- Ensurethe cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas utensils andequipment
- Maintain full knowledge of all menuitems daily features and promotions
- Followkitchen policies procedures and servicestandards
- Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies when handling food and / orbeverage
- Maintaining and ordering stocks andsupplies
- Other duties asassigned
Qualifications :
Yourexperience and skillsinclude :
- Previouskitchen experience an asset
- Creative andpassionate about food and customer service
- Ableto work in a highpressure environment
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills; a teamplayer
- A valid BC Food Safecertification
