We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as a Manager, Digital Finance Transformation.
There is a possibility of contract extension and conversion
Pay Rate : $55.01
1-year contract

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include :
- Manage the development, consolidation and review of quarterly expense reporting deliverables (including Quarterly Business Results, forecasts, provisions and guarantees), identifying key metrics, trends, insights and recommendations across Sun Life Canada.
- Manage the development of Workiva expense dashboards, analytics and presentations to measure progress on key expense initiatives, savings and financial discipline.
- Lead and support expense analyses to provide relevant executive insights, identify key drivers to enhance operating leverage, and progress opportunities for deeper insights and holistic expense metrics (a special emphasis on IFRS17 segmented reporting)
- Support key Canada and Business Unit expense analysis projects as we continue to execute on Sun Life’s execution of evolving expense management.
- Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives to advance the business, including assuming various roles within huddles, problem solving / continuous improvement teams and reporting on expense and business indicators.
- Pursue continuous improvement opportunities for deliverables and processes, supporting the business’ performance objectives and Canadian Finance vision.
- Provide support to other deliverables on the Management Insights & Analysis team for critical tasks, and lead / support strategic Canadian / Corporate projects, as needed.
- Participate and be a key contributor to the annual Canadian Strategic Plan and Business Plan in collaboration with the Financial Planning and Analysis team
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with :
- Accounting designation (CPA / CMA / CA / CGA) with progressive experience within financial, expense and / or strategic management functions and a proven track record of partnering with and influencing to drive results.
- Manages through complexity and ambiguity by maintaining focus, flexibility and positive can-do’ attitude, with a strong Ownership Mindset.
- Attention to detail to ensure delivery of quality materials to an executive audience.
- Drives for action by acting with speed, decisiveness and sense of urgency. Assumes responsibility until the problem is solved.
- Superior communication skills to share relevant information at the executive level in a compelling, succinct and diplomatic manner.
- An attitude of continuous improvement and learning, while embracing successes and failure to devise alternate approaches.
