Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, on s'attendra à ce que le Gestionnaire de projets II effectue ce qui suit :

  • Gérer les ressources humaines, financières et opérationnelles nécessaires pour répondre aux obligations contractuelles du projet et à celles liées à l'entreprise afin d'assurer la rentabilité.
  • Gérer des prototypes ou des projets à risque élevé ainsi que contribuer aux activités liées au développement stratégique de gammes de produits et à l'amélioration des produits.
  • Élaborer un plan de gestion de projet pour des projets uniques et complexes.
  • Établir les buts et les objectifs pour des projets uniques et complexes ayant d'importantes répercussions financières.
  • Assurer un leadership quotidien aux membres de l'équipe.
  • Recommander des initiatives liées à l'amélioration et participer à leur mise en place.

Les responsabilités comprendront mais ne seront pas limitées à :

  • Élaborer des procédures et des lignes directrices pour l'exécution des activités de gestion de projet.
  • Aider à la mise en évidence des domaines déficients au niveau des spécifications techniques du client et proposer de nouvelles solutions.
  • Négocier les conditions générales des accords de sous-traitance et de travail partagé.
  • Résoudre les problèmes liés à la réalisation du projet ou au calendrier d'exécution en modifiant l'ordre de priorité des activités.
  • Agir à titre de personne-ressource principale du client sur des questions relatives au projet, y compris les négociations et l'obtention de garanties de l'acceptation du client.
  • Soutenir les aspects techniques ainsi que ceux concernant les coûts et l'échéancier des propositions.
  • Mettre en œuvre la structure de répartition des travaux associés au projet.
  • Coordonner les activités techniques du projet.
  • Exploiter, tirer parti des possibilités de modification du contrat ou d'ajout d'un contrat secondaire afin d'élargir la portée du projet, de résoudre les problèmes liés à la portée ou aux finances ou d'améliorer le rendement financier des contrats à prix fixe en réduisant les coûts.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie, en gestion de projet ou en commerce ou formation équivalente.
  • De 5 à 8 ans d'expérience pertinente au minimum.
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais et du francais.
  • Solide connaissance des meilleures pratiques en gestion de projet (PMP est un atout)

Connaissance de PowerBI (grand atout à avoir)

Connaissance de DevOps (un atout)

In this role, the Project Manager II will be expected to :

  • Manage the human, financial and operational resources necessary to meet contractual and company related obligations of the project to ensure profitability.
  • Handle prototypes or high risk projects and contribute to activities related to strategic product line process and product improvement.
  • Develop project management plan for unique and complex projects.
  • Establish goals and objectives for unique and complex projects of major financial impact.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for team members.
  • Recommend and participate on improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop procedures and guidelines for executing project management activities.
  • Support identification of deficient areas in customer’s technical specifications and suggest new technical solutions.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontract and work share agreements.
  • Resolve project work / schedule problems by reprioritizing activities.
  • Act as primary liaison with customer on project matters including negotiations and securing customer acceptance.
  • Support technical, cost and schedule aspects of proposals.
  • Implement project work breakdown structure.
  • Coordinate technical activities of project.
  • Develop / capitalize on opportunities for contract amendments and / or side contracts to extend project scope, solve scope / financial problems or improve fixed-price financial returns by reducing costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, project management, commerce or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong Knowledge in Project Management best practices (PMP is an asset)
  • Knowledge in PowerBI (great asset to have)
  • Knowledge in DevOps (an asset)
