Job Tittle : Logistics Coordinator

Location : Mississauga, ON

Hybrid position

Contract Duration : 3 months with possibility of extension

Job Description :

• Contractor will be trained on the SAP Client system and will be expected to :
• Microsoft office and SAP experience is a requirement
• Organize and assist with plant transfers to help with stock shortages and plant allocation
• Build and maintain cooperative cross functional relationships with freight department, plants and suppliers
• Manage at risk out of stock items and arrange expedites
• Daily risk report pulls in SAP and meetings with production locations in Canada to support risk reviews and expedites
• Provide assistance and timely communication to Client plants and suppliers on supply needs and / or repositioning requests
• Takes the initiative to quickly identify, analyze and resolve problems or improvement opportunities
• Proactively mitigate risk through adding items to trucks before cut-off times
• Needed Skills : Basic Microsoft Excel required, and SAP experience
• Other soft skills needed : Detailed oriented, self-starter, takes direction well, works well as part of a team, quick learner, excellent communicator, organized and sense of urgency.

Education : High school diploma, College degree a plus
