18 month contractual replacement for a maternity leave. Hybrid from one of our Eastern Canadian offices.

As Senior Graphic Designer you will report to the Global Art Director and Manager of Creative and Digital Services who is based in Montreal.

You’ll be part of a small but mighty team of creatives. Your responsibilities include a variety of tasks such as project coordination and design of reports both recurring and new, layout of whitepapers and transforming presentations by adding your own designer’s magic touch, all in keeping with Fiera Capital’s branding and standards of excellence.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design and digital, is organized and has a keen eye for detail. You love great work and have high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between colleagues in offices worldwide to advance global initiatives
  • Update and design quarterly reports, stationary, signage
  • Enhance the visual appeal of PPT presentations produced by marketing and investment teams, and ensure they meet branding standards
  • Create branded email campaigns using Pardot
  • Photo retouching and photo research
  • Act as an advisor when creating marketing collateral and be a brand ambassador
  • Assist the team with digital / social media (Linkedin) projects, videos and website updates
  • Create concepts for internal communications campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal teams to produce timely white papers and other documents
  • Keep up-to-date with design trends and new tools in the creative field
  • Oversee work done by freelancers and ensure material is error-free
  • Create project planners and production calendars

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Design (or related field)
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe suite : Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint or Keynote and Microsoft 365
  • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude
  • Enjoys working with others and fostering relationships;
  • Detail-oriented, good organizational skills and reliable quality control methods
  • Strong creativity, passionate about typography and clean design
  • Bilingualism : English (strong) and French
  • Experience with coordinating and designing documents / magazines
  • Knowledgeable of AODA and accessible design, an asset;
  • Strong project coordination skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • 7 years+ relevant experience in a corporate or agency setting
