Counter Sales Representative

Do you need to have done this exact job before? No! Electrical, HVAC, or Construction Industry knowledge would be a definite plus, and you MUST be comfortable in a more blue-collar environment.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do here :

• Assist customers in person and on the phone / by email
• Help identify specific or alternate solutions based on requirements
• Entering sales orders and following up to make sure they get completed on time
• Create and follow up on quotes.
• Ship & Receive items
• assist with warehousing duties (must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively!)

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the table :

• 2+ years of counter sales or customer service experience required
• Electrical experience would be a strong asset
• Fluent in written / spoken English
• Knowledge of AS400 would be an asset
• Desire to learn and develop yourself
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail oriented
• MUST be able to lift 50lbs repetitively
