MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Corporate & IPP Accountant for our client, an iconic and highly reputable developer builder in Vancouver, whose goal is to forever change the shape of the Lower Mainland through its innovative projects.
Job Responsibilities :
IPP Accounting
- Process and record rent income and expenses for a small IPP portfolio.
- Preparation of annual budget and CAM reconciliation for IPP.
- Maintenance of lease summary schedules and tenant details.
- Various IPP reporting as required
Corporate Accounting
- Perform full cycle accounting for all management, holding, and non-development entities.
- Manage accounts payable including data entry, cheque runs, reconciling vendor accounts.
- Preparation of monthly management fee invoices.
- Filing of GST and other tax returns.
- Monthly corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Preparation of semi-monthly payroll for multiple entities.
- Process cash call requests and assist with cash flow management.
- Assist with deposits and payments.
- Assist with month and year end procedures and other compliance reporting.
- Various ad-hoc projects as assigned by your manager. Qualifications :
- University degree or college diploma.
- 2-year experience in corporate and / or IPP accounting.
- Knowledge of retail accounting an asset.
- Experience with Sage 300 CRE is an asset.
- Experience processing payroll and knowledge of employment standards.
- Has a good fundamental knowledge of accounting practices.
- A team player with passion and desire to learn and grow.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and detailed-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skill is required.
- Strong communication skill both in written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
