We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 2 days a week Downtown Toronto.
The candidate will be working on data validation for a private markets / alternative investment system. This person will be directly involved with the development team and vendor.
They will be responsible for upstream and downstream data processes :
- gathering data and understanding how the business users enter the data in the system
- understand how data gets into the system
- seeing if processing is valid in the system
- Extract data from the system
- Validating extracted data
Must Have :
- 2+ years of recent dedicated experience with Private markets / Private Investments / Alternative Investments with all of the following asset classes - real estate, infrastructure, global credit, private equity
- Strong understanding of deal life cycle, front office deal flow
- Alternative investment system experience (examples : InvesTran, Dynamo, Chronograph, eFront, Yardi, Mercatus, DealCloud, Burgiss, S&P iLevel, etc.)
- Gathering data, data validation, data extraction from systems (dealing with both upstream and downstream processes)
