What We Are Looking For :

This position will independently manage and organize the daily operations of a busy Financial Services practice. This role is for someone who has the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and multitask.

The right candidate should also have an administrative background with a keen interest in financial services.

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
  • Manage client file openings and conflict checks
  • Provide administrative support with respect to docketing, billing, wire confirmations
  • Organizing client marketing initiatives
  • Assisting with transactions
  • Create signature packages for closings
  • Manage duties related to accounting
  • Produce the highest quality of work
  • Accountable for all work assigned
  • Calendar management
  • Takes initiative
  • Confidential

Requirements :

  • Five years previous experience as a legal assistant
  • Successful completion of a related post-secondary Legal Assistant and / or Law Clerk program
  • Handle time pressure and stress of multiple demands

Skills :

  • Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Experience with creating, numbering, styling and rebuilding documents
  • Familiarity using DocuSign and closing folders
  • Good judgement and decision making
  • Organized
  • Resourceful
  • Detailed
