Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator for our Laval Construction & Forestry location.This position is responsible for providing support to the sales team and leading marketing initiatives with the Branding group for creation and upkeep of marketing materials.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist sales with proposal / bid and presentation preparation including proposal writingFacilitate the gathering of content for Marketing initiatives for the creation of brochures, case studies, photography / videos and trade showsWork with the estimating group to standardize proposal templatesEnsure consistency in our proposal submission and review to ensure submissions meet the formatting standardwork with Sales Team to ensure all proposals are followed up with accordinglyResponsible for collecting data and creating various reports as requestedResponsible for championing the bid submission process including communication from the sales team to the estimating and engineering team, and back to the Sales TeamImplementing and leading new organization strategies for opportunity logging - prospectingWorking with the Sales Team and Sales Manager to ensure submissions are on time and follow-up schedules are maintainedManaging the standard proposal submission templatesWork the sales group to track and log lost opportunities and lead lost opportunity investigationsAssist with new market intelligence - new industry opportunity investigationAssist infield Salesmen with presentation / preparation materialsOther duties as assignedRequired SkillsInterest and aptitude in sales activitiesExcellent presentation and communication skillsPositive, upbeat attitude with ambitious outlookDetail-oriented and good organizational skillsStrong time management skills and effective working habitsRequired ExperienceMust be familiar with Microsoft OfficeMechanical aptitude and knowledge preferredPrevious experience in the heavy equipment industry preferredPrevious experience in inventory coordination and sales considered an asset
