Meet Fresh Prep Canada’s most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.
As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging.
We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.
In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing :
Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, maintaining conveyor belts, and inspecting fire safety systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to operations.
Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues, such as leaks, HVAC, and equipment malfunctions.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts on computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Monitor and maintain the safety of common areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of safety systems, such as fire alarms and emergency lighting, and coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements.
Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment or systems as needed.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in facility maintenance techniques.
Work Conditions :
Physical ability to lift up to 50lb( 23kg).
Travel to the site, and off-site locations will be required.
Safety equipment will be required when working in the production floor, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, smock / coat, gloves, etc.
Working after-hours as required.
Hazards associated with the trade.
Work both indoors and outdoors.
Will be exposed to construction sites during any renovation
Will be working in temperature controlled environments
What We Are Looking For :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a facilities and maintenance technician or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques for facility-related issues.
Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and vendors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
