WeAre WSP

What you can expect to do here

  • You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Inspectors, and other staff.
  • You will lead project teams through the construction of treatment facilities, pumping stations, water mains, sewer mains, and more.
  • You will evaluate contractor performance to meet project deliverables and quality standards.
  • You will maintain regular client communication to update on project status and resolve issues.
  • You will manage Quality Assurance, payment certificates, change requests, and claims.
  • You will respond to contractor RFIs and clarification requests.
  • You will prepare Engineering Certifications.
  • You will ensure compliance with WSP's safety policies and legislative requirements.
  • You will provide performance feedback and mentor team members.

What you'll bring to WSP

  • 7+ years in Contract Administration and Site Inspection on wastewater treatment, pumping stations, installation of watermains, force mains and sewer mains.
  • Experience with and knowledge of the CCDC is a plus
  • Very good understanding of OPSS and municipal standards.
  • Good understanding of resolving and managing claims and changes.
  • Experience with large civil construction projects, especially water and wastewater systems.
  • Knowledge of working on City of Toronto projects is an asset.
  • Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Expertise in project planning, risk management, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in contract document preparation and administration.

This position requires use of personal vehicle in good working order to be used often for purpose of commuting and G driving license with good standing.
