We are seeking a skilled ITSupport Specialist to work onsite in Ottawa Canada. The idealcandidate will possess strong administrative experience withPowerEdge Server (Rack and Tower) and PowerScale systems.
Thecandidate must be a Canadian citizen and will be responsible forsupporting an AI / HPC client environment.
Thisrole involves handling support calls coordinating warrantyreplacements managing component replacements with CSEclearedresources and managing escalations.
They will also supportPowerEdge PowerScale and the DPS portfolio with some involvement inPowerStore support.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Provide direct support to the AI / HPC clientenvironment.
- Field support calls and act as themain point of contact between the client and technical supportteams.
- Manage dispatching of warrantyreplacement parts.
- Coordinate CSEclearedresources for component replacements.
- Manageand escalate critical issues as needed.
- Performgeneral administrative tasks for PowerEdge (Rack and Tower)PowerScale and DPS systems.
- Provide somesupport for PowerStore.
Required Skills :
- Experience with PowerEdge Server(Rack and Tower) administration.
- Experience with PowerScale administration.
- Strong general IT supportskills.
- Excellent communication and customerservice skills.
- Ability to handle escalationsand manage technical support tasksefficiently.
PreferredSkills :
- Secret orTopSecret clearance (not mandatory).
- Experiencewith PowerStore systems.
