Reporting to the Electric Power Project Manager, the Manager, Engineering will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers, driving innovation and excellence in the design and development of power generation systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and will shape the future of energy solutions.
Enerflex is a leading player in the power generation industry, dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions. We are at the forefront of technological advancements, committed to shaping the future of power generation. This position is part of the Electric Power Project Execution team and located in Ste Julie, Quebec. Travel may be required for remote site work.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of power generation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet organizational goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements to drive innovation within the engineering team.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in all engineering activities.
