This is a full-time position working the overnight shift, five nights a week.
To ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property.
- Monitor property through foot patrols and watching security footage and observe, report, and follow up on safety and security concerns
- Respond to and manage all emergencies including fire, medicals, and any potential threats to people or property
- Maintain order in the hotel, including the on-site staff accommodations
- Follow protocols and the law when responding to situations involving drugs and alcohol
- Document through written reports all incidents, events, and actions taken
- Follow up and investigate complaints and incidents
- Assist other departments as necessary
- Authorized to make any decisions necessary to effectively deal with security concerns and / or emergency situations
