In support of this acquisition "BP Canada", has an exciting career opportunity for aJourneyman Red Seal Pipefitter for our Edmonton Plant.
- Schedule : the core hours are 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm, Monday to Friday.
Rate :
37.91 / hr for the first 3 months38.66 / hr for the following 9 months40.49 / hr after 1 year.Additional Red Seal tickets are paid $1 / hour extra.Benefits :

Maintain and repair process fluid systems such as pneumatic, hydraulics and heating;Maintain and repair plant utility systems : Sprinklers, Steam, Water, Compressed Air and Hot Oil;Cut, thread, bend and assemble pipe, tubing and fittings;Fit up and prepare piping for required welded joints;Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements;Measure, cut, and threading to required shape using hand and power tools;Install supports, valves, piping;Test system for leaks using testing equipment;Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system;Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment;Run piping and retrofit existing water line;Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system;Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code;Liaises and collaborates with other trades;Performs other duties as required.Este trabalho é para você?
Ticket required – Industrial pipe fitter / Steam Fitter;Steamfitter – Pipefitter / Steam Fitter Red Seal Certificate (preferred);5+ years experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter;Experience in a Steam and Gas manufacturing environment;Experience with Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems;Experience with Dry Valve (fire systems);Knowledge of applicable Pipe / Steam Fitter codes, standards, and regulations;Experience with bending copper tubing in preparation for steam tracing;Basic computer skills;Must be customer focused, self starter and work well with others.Experience working with vendors and making purchase requests.Um pouco mais sobre nós
