Are you a seasoned HR professional with union negotiation experience looking for an exciting newly created role where you can make a real impact? Join a dynamic and growing team where you'll play a key role in shaping HR initiatives and supporting employees at all levels. Please note that this position is located approximately 40 minutes northwest of Spruce Grove.The OpportunityOur client is a privately held Alberta-based company that provides services for oil and gas E&P companies. In this newly created position you will be tasked with ensuring operational excellence within the HR Department. You will play a key role in supporting and implementing HR initiatives while acting as the key point of contact for employees and managers. Key Responsibilities : Act as a resource for managers, providing guidance, on HR policies, performance management and employee relations.Oversea recruitment support, onboarding, development, and offboarding.Oversee and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.Facilitate labor relations, including negotiating collective agreements, handling grievances, and resolving disputes in a unionized setting.Develop and deliver internal communications on HR policies, workplace updates, and HR initiatives.Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices through regular audits and reporting.Support performance management by assisting with reviews, coaching managers on best practices, and addressing workplace concerns.Manage administrative processes related to payroll, benefits, and employee changes such as promotions and salary adjustments.Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improving workforce engagement and efficiency.Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives and professional development opportunities.Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role with leadership responsibilities.Diploma or certification in Human Resources or a related field.Strong background in unionized environments, including collective bargaining, dispute resolution, and grievance management.Solid understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance regulations.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel; experience with BambooHR, ADP, or Power BI is a strong asset.Why Join our Client?Competitive compensation package with a vehicle allowance, cell phone allowance, immediate benefits, and RRSP matching.Newly created role - a unique opportunity to shape and refine HR processes.100% in-office position, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM - be part of a close-knit team.Key leadership position with the ability to drive change and contribute to business success.Collaborative and supportive work culture that values HR as a strategic function.About UsExecutrade is one of Western Canada's most comprehensive full-service recruitment firms, with over 50 years of expertise in connecting talented professionals with leading organizations.We are proud to apply principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all our recruitment practices, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.
