Candidates are invited to apply for the position of Business Development Representative, which can be in Eastern Quebec or New Brunswick
SGP is a Purchasing Network, an organization committed to providing unmatched customer service, comprehensive network support, and innovative solutions to the Senior Care Market.
The position has responsibility in three key areas : sales / marketing, program compliance and client retention. The position works closely with the Regional Director Sales Quebec and Atlantic Canada and SGP Sales / Purchasing team to design, implement and administer programs that support both short- and long-term strategic objectives of the Company.
Accountabilities :
- Develop territory sales and achieve set objectives for assigned territory
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry associations.
- Lead business development and client retention efforts in Eastern Quebec and New Brunswick to strategically drive sales and business development within the assigned territory.
- Promote products and services through consultative selling within assigned customer segments.
- Plan and execute growth-focused programs, including in-services, health education sessions, and regional meetings.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events.
- Manage chain accounts and conduct regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Analyze territory data to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and inform decision-making.
- Focus on expanding and strengthening the SGP base business by developing strong business relationships in a competitive market to drive client retention and revenue growth.
- Oversee and manage the annual budget for territory activities and programs.
- Provide insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and potential new product opportunities.
