Job Description

As a Billing Clerk , you will manage billing processes and ensure accuracy in invoicing, payment tracking, and financial records. This role is crucial to maintaining our operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve customer inquiries about billing.
  • Track payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain detailed financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Generate billing reports for management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills for resolving customer concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
