Entrusted Advisors has an exciting opportunity for a talented Labor & Employment specialist with experience in Ontario to support one of our global corporate clients. This is an immediate opportunity to step in and support a fantastic in-house team with day-to-day employment advice and counsel, HR support, and policy development and training. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interface directly with sophisticated business teams within a well-known and respected international corporation.Responsibilities : Provide legal support to HR and business partners for employment law matters, including employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance management, discipline and termination, and harassment and discrimination.Develop, update, and assist with the implementation of policies, contracts, and employee communications.Prepare and deliver training to HR and business leaders to support regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. Manage employment-related claims and disputes.Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in Canadian HR and employment law with a corporate in-house law department.Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex matters at once.Demonstrated track record of building strong internal relationships and providing business-minded legal expertise.J.D. and membership in at least one Canadian provincial bar.
