Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and detail-oriented Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Engineer to join our client’s team in Fort McMurray, AB. The RBI Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing risk-based inspection strategies to optimize asset integrity and reliability. This role involves assessing equipment conditions, analyzing risks, and recommending inspection and maintenance plans to minimize operational risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.If you are passionate about improving asset reliability and safety through advanced RBI strategies, we want to hear from you!Location : Fort McMurray, ABShift : Monday to Friday | 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pmJob type : one year contract | Full-timeResponsibilities : Materials Engineer developing equipment strategies for fixed equipment.Evaluate damage mechanisms based on process conditions and inspection history to determine probability of failure and provide recommended mitigating actions.Equipment strategy development is a multi-discipline approach, so interaction with inspections personnel, mechanical engineering, operations, and process technical will be required.Qualifications : Must be local to Fort McMurray or willing relocate. This is not camp based FIFO role.Must be a P.Eng ( professional engineer) from APEGA.Undergraduate degree in Engineering.Minimum 5-10 years of work experience as material / RBI engineer.Oil & Gas Industry experience is required.Ability to manages own time and can address numerous issues simultaneously.Developed interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with broad stakeholders.Good knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Regulatory requirements.Are you interested in this position?
