Description

The Supervisor, Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) Maintenance manages MHE assets located at multiple PCL facilities (Depots A, B, C, and subs) within a defined geographical region (i.e., Province of Quebec and the Atlantic region), PCL employees, and contractors through defined processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance programs and support services and that the Regional Hubs operate with 99.95% uptime and availability, reliability and consistency across the Purolator network.
• Develop, manage, inspect, and oversee Material Handling Equipment / Conveyor maintenance programs to ensure availability and reliability, work order completion, and performance.
• Coordinate / plan schedules for outside contractor repairs.
• Perform periodic inspections of recently maintained equipment to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment.
• Monitor repairs completed by employees for quality standards and productivity requirements.
• Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect operations.

Experience

Education

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or equivalent).
