Job Skills / Requirements

Wage : $22.15 - $24 / hour

Become an integral part of the safety and security team and help passengers and airport / port staff with wayfinding, access control and other security needs. We are currently accepting applications for various full-time, part-time and casual / on-call positions including :

• Patroller
• Shift Supervisor
• RAMP Security
• Security Operations Centre
• Public Engagement and Safety Officer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, you get the chance to work alongside with other airport services. As an Airport Security Guard, your main duties will include anticipating and addressing inquiries, hazards, obstacles, and traffic concerns, patrolling the facility regularly, ensuring authorized entry to secure areas only, and writing detailed incident reports.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU :

Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.

Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field

RAIC

Valid BC Security Licence

Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
