Our client in Calgary NE is looking to add to their team seeking an experienced candidate who will be able to provide accounting and project administration services to the company.

Responsibilities

Accounting :

The company is currently operating with the accounting software SAGE 50. In the immediate near-term we will be transitioning to SAP B1. Competency, and / or the ability to quickly adapt to these systems is essential.

Use word processing, spreadsheet, or database to prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents as required.

Be able to handle bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable, and receivable as required.

Edit or format documents as required.

Be able to keep track of current job status.

Project Management :

You will be determining job costs via use of accounting software (Sage and SAP).

The admin part of the job consists of taking the sale once processed by the sales rep and then coordinating orders with the manufacturer and delivery scheduling with the customer.

You will pass the order to the warehouse for coordination of delivery to the customer.

Once equipment is delivered then there is a responsibility for invoicing the customer and keeping track of the accounts receivable for that customer.

You will be communicating with both the manufacturer and customer via email and / or phone

Qualifications

A positive professional attitude

Experience with planning

Organizational skills that balance work, team support and ad-hoc responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Proficiency with Accounting software programs such as Sage 50 and / or SAP Business One.

Must have several years of experience dealing with customer service-related issues.

Confident and Self-motivated.

Quick learner and keen sense of initiative in problem solving.

Education :

• Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Accounting from a recognized Post Secondary Institution
• Project Management diploma and / or degree would be an asset.
