OUR CLIENT

Our client in Calgary, is hiring for an experienced, Senior Architectural Technologist with experience working on a range of projects including some larger and more complex works, to join their busy and collaborative team.

This company are growing and have a strong portfolio of work in their pipeline.

THE JOB

The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases.

This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawing packages, construction documents and creating building permits for submissions.

With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural Technologist will need good attention to detail and able to work with accuracy.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

• The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
• Architectural Technology Diploma / Certification required
• 8+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
• Be currently living in Canada and have at least 3 years of working knowledge of the National building code
• Experience working with Revit is essential
• Able to produce complex sets of working drawings, details and construction documents
• Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
• Some Project management and Contract administration experience is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
