How will you contribute?
Partner with engineering, business and operations teams to craft and implement cross-platform solutions to support our customers insurance needs and the partners selling our products.
Architectural design of complex software components, issue, and solution considerations; apply industry standard processes to build scalable and secure solutions that have outstanding technical performance.
Partner with product collaborators to help influence priorities while being responsible for the technical solutions.Complete gap analysis of current solution design, evaluate future needs and develop proof of concepts.
Cost / benefit analysis of solutions considering technology, risks, scope, cost, quality, time, and resources.Learn how to measure critical metrics, understand their value, and then use the results to continuously improve both the ecosystem and your solutions.
Be proactive, work with collaborators to define architecture prior to initiating an effort, present and explain these concepts.
Design and develop reusable architecture models and share knowledge with the larger team.Keep models current and accessible to the larger team.
Work across small to medium sized teams setting guidelines and clarifying outcomes.
Attributes :
7+ years proven experience as a Solution ArchitectStrong background in Cloud system solution design and Event-based architecture.
Proficient in NodeJS, React, C#, Azure, .Net, Mongo / Cosmo, Window / SQL, Java, Salesforce, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Power BI, AEMIn-depth knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
Experience in design and architecture of software, understanding NFRs like scalability, reliability, and performance.Demonstrated ability engineering large scale sophisticated systems from design to production.
You obsess about customers, listen, engage, and act for their benefit.Ability to translate sophisticated business problems and important metrics into a solution architecture.
Have an eye for the future - leader with vision who flourish with learning about what's on the horizon and seeing how it can be applied to the customer challenges we need to address.
Deep understanding of business strategy and ability to craft software / platform / infrastructure architecture plans to support business outcomes.
Excellent time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesExcitement for learning and coaching othersCollaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members;

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
