Reporting to the Director, IAM Engineering, the successful candidate must have an extensive knowledge of most aspects of Information Technology and industry best practices as well as a detailed understanding of systems architecture, business systems analysis and application development.

Architect, lead and design architecture solutions for Identity and Access Management in a large enterprise environment in alignment with enterprise security requirements and standards
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Identity and Access Management, policies / practices and authentication protocols, integration and how they are applied in daily function or during project lifecycle
Partnering with stakeholders of both upstream and downstream systems to ensure proposed solutions align to appropriate technical and security standards or frameworks
Contribute to the overall IAM and security technical strategy and roadmap including but not limited to : authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management and governance, hybrid public / private cloud integration
Produce technical solution documents, design / architecture diagrams, security design documentation as required to support new, proposed or existing IAM solutions
Deliver technical presentations or knowledge walkthroughs of existing and proposed application systems to various audiences including project team members, peer technology teams and management
Ensure all software and infrastructure systems have appropriate information controls, backup and recovery strategies and are designed for high availability and disaster recovery
Investigate, perform root cause analysis and resolve system problems during standard work hours and / or assigned on call hours
Provide technical leadership to Level 1 and Level 2 support and development teams in relation to the catalogue of IAM services and solutions provided
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
Three years minimum IAM Architecture experience
Strong knowledge in workforce authentication and single sign-on technologies
Strong knowledge on IAM solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID and Forgerock
Strong knowledge on the IAM web access management, authentication, authorization, single sign-on, application / SaaS integration, security compliance policy implementation.
Strong knowledge on Windows and Linux operating systems, Tomcat, directory system, networking and system monitoring technologies
Strong knowledge on SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, LDAP, MFA, Rest API, API Gateway integration
Strong knowledge on DevOps such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket etc
Working knowledge and understanding of Java and web application development
Working knowledge and understanding of identity lifecycle management and governance / auditing
Superior problem solving and decision making skills to resolve work issues with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication both verbal and written and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with business partners
Awareness of current and emerging authentication technologies including behavioral analytics, implicit authentication and biometrics
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISF, GSEC will be considered an asset
Experience in Ansible, Sailpoint, and IBM WebSphere will be considered an asset
