  • Contribute to Knowledge Base : Expand Abnormal Security's knowledge base with new technical content, FAQs, and best practices that empower customers to maximize the use of our cybersecurity products.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience : 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the cybersecurity or technology industry.
  • Skills :
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, especially in areas like email security, phishing, malware detection, and incident response.
  • Experience with AI-based content creation tools (e.g., GPT-based models, automated documentation platforms) to improve efficiency and consistency in technical writing.
  • Strong ability to convey complex technical concepts (cyber threats, security policies, etc.) in a simple and customer-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and version control tools like Git.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity standards, regulations, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
  • Knowledge of technical frameworks like REST APIs and some exposure to scripting or programming languages (HTML, Python) is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to understand complex cybersecurity technologies and convert them into easy-to-follow documentation for users.
