The Role

Can you craft new content and update existing content while maintaining a consistent style and tone?Veeva Vault Safety is looking for an experienced Technical Writer who takes pride and ownership in their high-quality writing, champions advocating for users, and wants to be an active contributor to a great team.
What You'll Do
- Own the docs for your content areas for new features for monthly releases, including learning, researching, testing, and tracking the progress of each feature to understand what readers (both users and Admins) need to know to complete their tasks
- Become an expert in Vault Safety, including keeping up to date with new features documented by other writers by contributing to peer reviews
- Commit to continuous improvement and be a contributor to ways we can improve our content and processes
- Contribute to the consistent voice of our Help by reviewing existing content and maintaining a similar style
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA to ensure your content is correct, complete, clear, and consistent
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical writing experience
- Post-graduate degree or certificate in technical communications or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and research skills
- Ability to manage your time effectively when faced with competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and ask for help when you need it
- Technical aptitude and willingness to expand technical skills
- Ability to ask effective questions
- Based in Eastern time zone
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Canada. Veeva does not provide sponsorship of employment visa for this position
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of the software development process and cloud software applications
- Experience working in an agile software development environment
- Experience writing for regulated industries with a focus on pharmacovigilance as an asset
- Familiarity with Markdown, Jekyll, Gitlab, and Jira

Compensation
- Base pay : $60,000 - $110,000 CAD
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions.
This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and / or stock bonus.
