Our Surrey / Langley client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will will ensure efficient and timely processing of invoices / expenses, have experience creating reports in Excel, and will assist with other aspects in the finance department as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
- Verifying and posting vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
- Reconciling vendor accounts, responding to inquiries, investigate discrepancies
- Verifying and processing employee expenses in accordance with company policies
- Prepares period end related accruals
- Generate reports to track costs
- Assist with G / L reconciliations
- Vendor related Filing
- Accounts Receivable Relief Coverage
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance
Job Requirements :
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline
- 3+ years of recent related accounting experience with a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1 an asset)
- Proficient MS Office Skills (Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, be flexible and adaptable to ongoing change
