As a key estimation team member, you will be crucial in shaping future projects by providing vital estimates, from conceptual sketches to final bids. As Senior Estimator, you provide accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and industrial projects, including warehouses, distribution centers, and CRUs.

Roles and responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cost analysis and prepared detailed estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to review project specifications and drawings.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare accurate and complete estimates, including quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and sub-contractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare and present estimates to clients, providing clear and concise explanations.
• Maintain Sub-Contractors / Supplier relations.
• Maintain unit price and productivity knowledge and database.
• Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality.
• Prepare risk mitigation plans and effectively manage risks that might impact estimates.
• Keep updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to provide accurate estimates.
• Assist in project budgeting and cost tracking throughout the construction process.
• Manage and mentor junior estimators.
• Other duties and responsibilities as required.
