The Mullings Group Search Canada is proud to partner with our client, Tolko Industries, in the search for a Project Manager to support their Strand Based sector.
This role can be based remotely out of Alberta or Saskatchewan, with a generous relocation package provided for those willing to move to High Prairie, Slave Lake, or Meadow Lake. Work from home approximately 20% of the time and travel to Tolko sites during weekdays, up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities
- Lead and direct technical and administrative project teams, as well as oversee contractors and installation teams on approved capital projects.
- Execute and monitor project activities, including preparing and updating project plans, status reports and quality metrics of projects.
- Manage changes to scope, cost, resources and schedule of project work, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple projects.
- Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions, and corporate business development activities.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
- Account for engineering tasks to ensure they meet contract requirements.
- Act as a liaison between company and consulting firms & vendors.
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in Project Management roles within a manufacturing industry.Knowledge of electrical & control systems in an industrial industry is an asset.Broad and practical experience and demonstrated knowledge in manufacturing with a good understanding of conveyers, equipment, vendors and industry practices.Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.Experience in Engineered wood, MDF, Particular Board considered an asset.Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or relevant experience.Ability to work on various projects simultaneously, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with minimal supervision.Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical documents including schematics and prints as well as interpret engineering tolerances.Proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Recap.
