So, as you become a member of our close-knit team, you’ll forge close relationships with the seniors who live here. As a PARC Chef de Partie, you’re a key member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for : Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
Helping prepare meals according to our established menus with close attention to artistic plating, proper portions and safe food-handling procedures.
Maintaining a clean kitchen and workspace. Receiving deliveries and safely storing, labelling, and rotating food to prevent spoilage.
Providing creative input on regular and special-event menus. Supporting the Executive Chef by stepping in to lead the culinary team as needed and conducting kitchen audits.
Assisting kitchen cleaning, including equipment, countertops, and the beverage centre. Monitoring resident satisfaction by talking with residents in the dining room.

You’re upbeat and positive; bringing great energy wherever you go. You’re ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced team environment, managing high-stress situations and competing priorities.
You’re a skilled leader, an excellent communicator, and a customer-service star. You have a culinary diploma or equivalent, plus at least three years of experience in a similar position.
Red Seal training and certification are strong asset. You have your Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications. CPR and First Aid certification would be a bonus.
You have a flair for creative food preparation, and experience with portion control, menus and the use of commercial kitchen equipment.
