Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, IS Applications, this co-op student will be responsible for :
- Assist in the monitoring of production systems (including application logs)
- Identify and resolve problems in order to prevent negative impacts to application users
- Review, analyze and update software application documentation including architectural drawings using Microsoft Visio
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate professional competence with users, co-workers and management
- Perform software analysis and requirement gathering along with some minor build and test activities
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent program
- Familiar and able to work with various Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint and Visio
- Software development training
- Valid class 5 BC driver’s license

This is a full-time temporary student co-op opportunity with a 4 or 8 month term starting in January 2025.
