We are currently recruiting part-time Curriculum Developers in our Horticultural Technician apprenticeship program.
Areas of focus / specialization specific to the Horticulture and Landscaping industries :
Green Infrastructure
Site Preparation and Protection
Project Preparation
Marketing and Sales
Hardscape Structures
Mentoring and Training Techniques
Required Qualifications :
Red Seal Horticultural Technician, or Diploma, or Degree in a related field
Minimum five (5) years of industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development in a post-secondary setting;
- Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting;
- Demonstrated knowledge and comfort in the use of educational technologies;
- Demonstrated professional behavior;
- Highly effective communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills;
- Evidence of commitment to the success of all learners;
- Teaching experience is considered a highly desirable asset;
