About this role

We are recruiting for a Service Technician, Controls t to join our Burnaby or Victoria office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

The Service Technician, Controls will be involved in building control systems implementation and servicing. You will work with Project Managers, design team, & field staff to develop system designs, including producing shop drawings, programming, graphics and commissioning control systems.

Your responsibilities

  • Engineering, programming, and commissioning building automation systems
  • Integrating various systems such as chillers, boilers, and lighting panels
  • Data acquisition
  • Handle calibration of temperature and humidity sensors
  • Train building operators
  • Select and size control equipment to meet project requirements

Your experience and skills

  • 3+ years direct experience in designing HVAC systems
  • 4 years' experience in onsite commissioning of HVAC control systems
  • 3 years' experience in the use of MS-Visio / MS-Office & & mechanical design package tools such as Auto Cad, and Solid Works
  • Experience with networking, setting up windows server, configuring routers and switches
  • Knowledge of control system design and electrical control system wiring methods
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree / Diploma
  • Working knowledge of Reliable Control and / or Schneider EcoStruxure product
  • Well organized team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Able to speak, read and write English fluently, flexible and able to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environment

Salary range : $60,000-$90,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
