Role : WMS Application Development / Support Engineer
Location : Canada (Remote)
Mode : Contract
Primary skills : Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Jenkins, CI / CD
Secondary skills : Supply chain functional knowledge, mainframe basics
Key Accountabilities :
- Primary objective being, to adhere to the Enhancement of WMS application, Production Support, requirements and the deliverables are met on time with Quality and minimal bug for WMS application.
- Should have Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Jenkins, CI / CD knowledge.
- Understanding of Supply chain functional knowledge. Mainframe basics, Korber knowledge would be advantage.
- Ensure the Production Support issues are addressed on time and effectively to the satisfaction of the Business users in individual Tracks.
Ready to work as Oncall to support the project.
- Should know the Incident and Problem management activities.
- Ensuring Requirements are well documented and identify any area of improvements.
- Keep a track of open JIRA / GLPI Tickets to ensure SLAs are not breached.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Processes.
- Following Target time / date for providing RCA and proper resolution for the Bugs / Incidents.
- Should be able to Organize and collaborate effectively with the Leads and Sr. Software Developers / Sr. Support Engineers from both onshore and offshore.
- Should be an effective Team player and be able to assist other Team members on the delivery requirements.
- Should be Self-motivated and possess Self Learning capabilities.
Key Skills :
- Strong hands-on Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Jenkins, CI / CD Experience.
- Basic understanding of Supply chain functional knowledge and Mainframe basics would be advantage.
- Basic understanding of SRs.
- Average to Above Average knowledge in most Supply Chain modules like Receiving, carrier labels printing etc. would be helpful.
- Should have Excellent knowledge in Interface monitoring and Error Fixing.
- Prioritization and Organizational skills.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone.

- Shows flexibility / ownership and works under pressure situation.
- Ability to work within challenging environment with tight delivery timelines.
- Should be open to work 24 / 7.
- Understanding of the Business situation and capability to address issues.
