We’re currently looking for a Salesforce Program Manager to join our dynamic Transformation team.

UWCA has implemented Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and is now looking for an experienced project management professional with experience in software and services implementations, ideally within the Salesforce ecosystem.

This role works in our Transformation team and supports the final phase of an extensive Digital Transformation project across the organization.

Reporting to the VP, Transformation, the Salesforce Program Manager will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams within the portfolio and will work with the project management team, developers, leadership, subject matter experts and a variety of stakeholders ensuring the successful completion of the work and adoption of Salesforce across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of agile project management in the software or technology spaces and digital transformation initiatives.

The Salesforce Program Manager will work closely with colleagues in the Transformation team and from across the organization, and will demonstrate exceptional people skills to engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Analytical and critical thinking skills are essential for addressing challenges in project rollouts, particularly in areas such as Communication, Stakeholder management, Change Management, Release Management, Business process changes, Governance, Training, Platform adoption.

What you will do

Salesforce Program Planning

  • Assist leadership with the delivery of program strategies.
  • Working in collaboration with leadership, develop, manage, and communicate program plans.
  • Define and measure success metrics and integrate them into existing OKR and project reporting frameworks and tools.
  • Implement best practices for backlog management, new release management, and transition to operations.
  • Drive user adoption and engagement strategies for new processes and technology using change management best practices.
  • Contribute to budget planning by identifying resource, software, and license requirements.
  • Assist in creating communication pieces for internal use, focusing on risk and issue identification and mitigation.

Execution of Program Deliverables

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the project teams working on the Salesforce Program.
  • Lead project management efforts, driving sprint management best practices that address people, process, and technology needs.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather input, build commitment, review processes, and equip users for successful adoption and transition to operations.
  • Ensure effective communication with impacted audiences throughout the duration of projects / sprints.
  • Ensure the creation of suitable documentation and training materials when new technology or new business processes are implemented.

What you will bring

Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar project management role supporting software and technology projects and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Certificate in project management (PMP preferred), change management (ProSci or similar), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce software or equivalent experience working in projects in the domains that include CRM, Database, Mobile / Web / Application development, Marketing, and AI.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform, including various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), AppExchange, and Salesforce development tools is a strong advantage as is demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in Microsoft Office, Project, Project for the web
  • Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in tools often used in agile project management and business analysis.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Project Manager, Platform Developer, or Sales Cloud Consultant an asset
  • Experience in managing organizational change, including user adoption strategies and training plans.
  • Experience in managing and communicating, both written and verbal, with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to assist in the alignment of Salesforce initiatives with overall business objectives and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Advanced expertise and experience in managing relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to negotiate and prioritize competing demands.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Understanding of business processes and how Salesforce can be leveraged to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ability to identify potential risks in Salesforce projects and develop mitigation strategies.
