Associate Director, Strategy

We’re looking to add an Associate Director, Strategy to our Media.Monks team. As an associate director, you’ll drive impactful growth and demand generation programs, collaborating closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work in a fast paced environment.

The associate director will work with one of Media.Monk’’s flagship clients focused on Commerce Acquisition building global programs that help us achieve our client’s strategic objective.

The ideal candidate is a go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, gets nerdy about what they do, and works fast and flexibly to get the job done.

Responsibilities :

  • Understand client’s objectives and establish processes for effectively managing the organization by understanding issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence our work
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions with client to develop innovative, impactful ideas for amplifying key initiative; develop best ideas into actionable plans
  • Drive development of campaigns to amplify initiative including understanding various marketing channels, how and when to use them, identifying required marketing assets and driving asset development
  • Own measurement and analysis of channels and campaigns with a focus on maximizing qualified business opportunities and return on investment
  • Manage team-wide and executive communications between the client and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Help keep projects on track through structured tracking and reporting, constantly finding ways to improve processes and streamline efforts
  • Provide insights and recommendations to ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution to help drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward
  • Understand and develop testing strategies to measure campaign effectiveness and analyze findings to recommend optimizations for campaign improvement
  • Lead campaign creative audits to provide strategy recommendations for updating in-market marketing assets
  • If and when a project is missing milestones or is lacking momentum, bring the right resources / attention to get it back on track

Requirements :

  • BA / BS degree in marketing or related field
  • 8+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience in all aspects of online marketing, including brand, acquisition, demand generation, nurture, growth, partnerships and retention campaigns
  • Creative marketer with a passion for knowing your customer and proven track record designing programs that motivate them to take action
  • Creative testing capabilities, being able to understand impact of A / B testing campaigns by analyzing results and developing a plan of action to optimize performance
  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated capacity to roll out complex, data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage several priorities and complex global projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, and influence executive managers
  • Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including both professional and casual style of communication
  • Fun : Laughter is important. You work hard but like to enjoy what you do and have fun in the process

What We Offer

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting.

Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range$85,000 $95,000 CAD
