Creative Director, Art / Design
Description Media.Monks is expanding with key Creative roles. We are looking for that special category of conceptual thinkers who can generate award winning creativity across any and every contemporary discipline of execution, and need to be able to creatively direct projects from concept all the way into execution.
You should have a knack for the visual side of storytelling, have 360 degree campaign experience and to be broadly versed across creative disciplines.
This key role will be working directly in a client facing team, building out strategic thought and creative ideas that have lasting impact.
You will be part of building and defining a new breed of creative agency with some of the most innovative digital, social, technology and production expertise at your disposal.
Role
The day-to-day role of a Creative Director typically involves :
- In this key role, you'll help steer the creative ship of one of our newest and most exciting large clients. As part of our team, you'll be collaborating with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, developers as well as with PMs, operations managers and a lot more talented Monks from all over the world.
- Working across teams and time zones, you'll be developing concepts across a variety of innovative products.
- You'll be client facing and co-owning client relationships. Pitching and presenting directly to our clients, you'll be shaping and selling concepts as well as overseeing high-velocity production work streams.
- You'll manage multiple work streams while ensuring all deliverables are at a world-class level
- You'll create not just what the client asked for but what their campaign needs, working with designers to produce beautifully designed decks that are in line with the project's objectives and requirements.
- Working on multiple projects at once, you go above and beyond each brief to push what's possible on both a creative and technical level.
- Leading multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
- You can forecast production and concepting issues in order to ask the right questions to the client and team and give solutions to future problems.
- Develop a holistic understanding of our clients' partners, tech and creative in crafting flexible concepts that can be applied to a variety of partnership opportunities.

Requirements
- Fluent in English (for presentation and communication skills).
- For this senior-level position, we're looking for a Creative with international experience (English-speaking environment) in other markets than the US.
- Wow clients with presentation skills is a must.
- Our leadership can rely on you to run the creative parts of a pitch or project independently. The team can look up to you to recommend required resources and technology needed to execute assigned projects as a design mentor & problem-solver.
- An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas beyond the brief. You can produce concepts from scratch and enhance ideas provided by others.
- You have proven experience creating effective concepts for display ads and social (content) campaigns, using film, animation and imagery.
- You're equally capable and confident in working for high-end brands : you're looking for high-quality projects and aren't afraid of tight turnarounds.
- Leading multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
- You can forecast production and concepting issues in order to ask the right questions to the client and team and give solutions to future problems.
- As part of a global company operating as one team across time zones, you can successfully collaborate at a distance. This is a remote position.
