Reporting on progress and providestimely status updates on assigned projects. Lead the development ofa solution requirement specification for the options analysiscomponent of the business case

Assist in thedetailed evaluation of build / procurement options for input into thebusiness case Review technical practicability of alternativesolutions that are available and most costeffective

Conduct assess evaluate anddocument stakeholder interests and business needs Define businessand / or functional requirements Options Analysis Costing analysisBusiness Case

Demonstrate alignment with theprogram area requirement and associated business and logicalarchitectures Provide architectural guidance technical leadershipand assistance

Prepare project planscharters and other related project deliverables following the PMOmethodologies in accordance with the JTS and Corporate PMOpolicies

Detailed Project Plan includingplanned activities major milestones deliverables and targetcompletion dates as directed by Solutions Portfolio Manager OtherJTS PMO documentation as required Utilize PM Tools and repositoriesto manage and track required projectartefacts

Ensure alignment and adherence toMinistry of Government Services processes and standards Lead theproject through the Enterprise Architectural governance checkpointsat the cluster level and where applicable the corporatelevel

The consultant resource will interfacedirectly with the program area staff and management is accountablefor ensuring customer satisfaction development concurrence andaddressing the status of concerns to thecustomer

The consultant will provide adetailed list of all work / artefacts completed on the projectEnsures knowledge transfer to internal staff that is upon leavingthe project the consultant will transfer over allinformation / research to the client Attend any meetings related tothe resolution of any request as required Presentations (asrequired) Briefing Notes (as required) Status reports (as required)Skills Knowledge and Qualifications Project Management experienceat the specified experience level

Experiencein structured methodologies for the design developmentimplementation and maintenance of applications Leadershipexperience in one or more of the following areas : Multitieredapplication development Selecting and establishing technicalarchitectures Design and development of large or medium corporateapplications Managing the implementation activities associated withlarge IT projects Experience in the use of project managementsoftware Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmakingskills Excellent verbal and written communicationskills;

Highly developed interpersonal andnegotiation skills A team player with a track record for meetingdeadlines

Criteria1 Project Management 40points

5 years Project Management experience managing large complexapplication development projects and associatedchallenges;

Demonstrated experience withcreation of project schedules project plans issue risk logs statusreports and associated artefacts.

Demonstrated Understanding of the Systems Development Life CycleDemonstrated experience with Agile developmentconcepts

Demonstrated ability to manageproject resources (team members) by aligning skills to tasksevaluating progress against schedule and adjusting efforts asrequired.

Demonstrated knowledge and abilityto apply project management methodologies tools andtechniques

Demonstrated experienceidentifying analyzing prioritizing mitigating and communicatingproject risks throughout projectlifecycle

Criteria2 Technical Skills 30points

Demonstrated experience working with Mission Critical applicationsuch as OTIS (Offender Tracking InformationSystem)

Demonstrated experience withmanaging technical teams using Azure Cloud Mobile technology .NetOracle SQL server

Demonstrated experienceidentifying analyzing prioritizing mitigating and communicatingproject risks throughout project lifecycle.

Demonstrated experience in rollout strategies of Mobilesolutions

Criteria3 Leadership Facilitation and Interpersonal Skills 10points

Demonstrated priorexperience leading project teams facilitating interactions withclients and among the project team especially in a complex multistakeholder environment

Demonstratedexperience planning and prioritizing tasks effectively to respondto numerous and diverse challenges anddemands

Demonstrated experience controllingthe scope time and cost of theproject
