Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently searching for an Architectural Designer to join our Commercial, Retail and Petroleum group. The environment is fast-paced and growth oriented, ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to build on current successes.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Assist Project Team using skills to efficiently develop / revise plans, section & details for various Commercial, Retail and Petroleum projects including Architectural and Civil based drawings, with guidance from the Project Manager, CAD Manager or Engineers.
What your experience looks like
- University degree in Architecture or a College diploma in Architectural Technology
- At least 3 years' of relevant experience in Architectural design and CAD drafting
- Proven experience with AutoCAD and Revit BIM software
- Experience working with Provincial and National Building Codes
- Working knowledge of industry standards, applicable laws, construction details and methods.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform individually or as a Project Team Member
- Ability to resolve and / or communicate any technical issues that may arise
- Experience with Building (MEP) and Civil Engineering Design would be an asset
- Experience in interior design would be an asset
- Bilingual (English / French) would be an asset
- A valid driver's license with own vehicle would be an asset
