Your New Career

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Lead, North America to join our team on a hybrid work model in our stunning downtown Vancouver, BC headquarters.

Reporting to our Global Marketing Leader (based at our Australia headquarters), you’ll be responsible for driving revenue for Scout Talent in Canada and the US through a deep understanding of our customers, our products, and our value propositions.

Through effective and outcome-based marketing initiatives, you will be responsible for delivering quality leads to the sales team, and building our brand recognition in Canada and the US.

You'll provide leadership to one direct report, and there is a potential for team growth alongside business results. The marketing teams at Scout Talent operate as a global team with team members based across Brisbane (Australia), Vancouver (Canada), and Manilla (The Philippines).

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Scout Talent's business and marketing objectives
  • Oversee content planning, ensuring a consistent and engaging content calendar across all channels
  • Leading the creation of high-quality, compelling content for various segments, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and webinars
  • Collaborating with product marketing teams to create and distribute content that effectively communicates the value propositions of, and updates to Scout Talent's products
  • Creating and delivering annual and quarterly OKRs that align with global marketing strategy and North American business goals
  • Managing NA Marketing budget in line with forecast and business performance
  • Reporting across all direct marketing channels to ensure ROI
  • Owning and sharing key performance data, insights, actionable recommendations, and initiatives across the business
  • Brand guardian for Canada and the US - responsible for signing off on all collateral to ensure it is in line with our standards and brand guidelines
  • Leading a team dedicated to understanding the market that we operate within
  • Serving as a coach and leader, helping to develop the skills of your team as they grow in their careers, including supporting your team’s L&D goals, and facilitating one-on-one and team meetings
  • Fostering strong relationships and be an influential leader within Scout Talent Group, with the ability to secure buy-in from stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams

Who are we looking for?

To qualify, you will need 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in B2B marketing, ideally working with tech solutions.

Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower team members to achieve their best, will be crucial for this role.

In addition, the following skills and experience will be essential to perform successfully

  • Working closely with executive leaders, sales leaders, and deep understanding if the relationship between sales and marketing
  • New market expansion, preferably in the US
  • Data analysis and reporting on key marketing metrics in line with company targets
  • B2B Content Planning and Creation
  • HR and recruitment industry experience (asset)
  • Salesforce and / or Hubspot (asset)
