About the Job

Collaborates with distribution center leaders to identify and deploy creative and engaging workforce and talent solutions;

understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, engagement, and succession planning, with a focus on DE&I

  • Provides support and guidance to management and other staff; investigates allegations and drives implementation of solutions where relevant
  • Manages and supports the talent acquisition process, which will include hourly recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants;

collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings

  • Partners with talent acquisition on hiring process for salaried openings
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Leverages learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees;

creates and facilitates relevant training to business partners and related groups

  • Represents organization when engaging with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Works with cross-functional partners to support leaves, payroll and benefits of distribution center employees
  • Maintains compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance;

mitigate legal risks and ensures regulatory compliance. Partners with Employment Counsel as needed / required

  • Partners with peer HRBP’s and COE to deliver seamless support to the organization
  • Advocates the organizational values and builds accountability for supporting a respectful, inclusive workplace culture that represents the LS&Co. values

About You

  • 5 years' minimum experience in a distribution center environment or similar, lives the LS&Co. values of empathy, originality, integrity and courage
  • Trusted adviser and partner to leaders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive employee relations
  • Strong relationship builder, solutions-oriented, team player

Additional Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center environment or similar
  • Track record of driving change to create a positive work environment where employees and leaders are supported, challenged and enabled to do their best work
  • Lives the LS&Co. values of empathy, originality, integrity and courage
  • Drive solutions with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive employee relations
  • Strong relationship builder, solution-oriented, team player
  • CHRP, CPHR preferred

The expected starting salary range for this role is $110,000 to $137,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.

The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
